
The Mary Turner Lane Reading and Resource Room, located in the
Carolina Women's Center, accommodates an on-campus library collection,
featuring current material on issues of interest to women.
Students, Faculty, and Staff are all welcome to establish a lending account in the Carolina Women's Center library. To establish an account simply visit the Carolina Women's Center between 8am and 5pm Monday - Friday.
Books and and Videos may be checked out up to 5 items at a time for a maximum of 3 weeks. To renew books and videos or if you have questions. please contact our Library Coordinator Elissa Zellinger ezell@email.unc.edu.

Magazines and NewslettersWe subscribe to many publications including Off Our Backs, Bust, Color Lines, Women's Health, Daughters, Latina , Essence, Lilith, Ms., Women in Higher Education, Pink, Marie Claire, Bitch, Working Mother, Bust, Endeavors, Chronicle of Higher Education, and Carolina Alumni Review. The library holds back issues of Ms. Magazine from 1988 to 2000. We also archive newsletters from local and national women's organizations. | ![]() |

The Center's website offers annotated resource guides on specific topics for materials available at Davis, House Undergraduate and Mary Turner Lane libraries. The topics currently available are:
